Motocross: James Stewart To Ride Muddy Creek National

Yoshimura Suzuki has suited up and has already completed the first qualifying session at Muddy Creek Raceway in Tennessee for round five of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. He’s currently fifth quickest.
Before the riding got underway, Stewart issued a statement through Suzuki’s PR representative — Jake Klingensmith — regarding his positive test for amphetamine that the FIM administered following the Seattle Supercross back in April.
In short, Stewart and his team asked the media not ask them any questions about the issue but Stewart did release the following statement:
“Recently the media has focused on my WADA test results. The results are from a test after a recent Supercross race. I had been taking a very common prescription medication under doctors care since late 2012. Doctors prescribed medicine for me with an attention issue I suffer from. I am working with the various racing and organizing bodies to resolve this issue. I am fully cooperating with the best care for my medical condition as well as what’s best for motocross. Additionally, I want to be cleared to race Supercross as quickly as possible. This process has run its course according to FIM rules. Until the FIM makes its decision please understand that I will not be commenting about this issue.”
Klingensmith added, “At this time this is all we will hear from James about the issue. He will not comment on the situation until it has been resolved.”
