James Stewart left paralyzed after a crash at his home compound

James Stewart is in hospital with a substantially broken neck after crashing at his home Motocross track in Florida US 

It is yet unknown if Mr James Stewart is actually in care at his local private hospital, we should hopefully find out if this is a hoax or not within the next 72 hours

RYAN Dungey OUT WITH A BROKEN BACK!

Red Bull KTM regrets to report that reigning motocross champion Ryan Dungey has sustained a cracked vertebrae and will miss High Point and several upcoming rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

The injury happened when he crashed while battling for the lead on the opening lap of Moto 2 at Thunder Valley MX last weekend. Showing immense heart, Dungey bounced back from the crash and rode a remarkable come-from-behind race coming from 19th place back to 4th spot by the races end to finish 2nd overall for the round. After evaluation by several doctors this week, the doctors have confirmed that Dungey cracked his C6 Vertebrae in the fall and requires a minimum of 6-8 weeks healing time.

“It’s very difficult to share such disappointing news,” said Ryan Dungey. “It’s heart breaking mainly because of all the hard work the team and I have put in preparing to defend the motocross title this year. But I’m very thankful that the injury wasn’t worse. I will use this time away from racing to recover fully, knowing this will only make me stronger and more motivated. Thank you everyone for your support and understanding.”

“Obviously Ryan being injured is tough on the team,” said Red Bull KTM Team Manager Roger DeCoster. “At the time we didn’t know about his injury and we were so proud of the way he raced that second moto in Colorado coming from 19th place all the way to almost finish on the podium. But to now know that he accomplished that battling through the pain of a cracked vertebrae shows what an unbelievably tough champion rider he really is. The plan right now is to reassess his return to racing in 6 weeks’ time once he is reevaluated by his doctor.”

Ryan Villopoto Coming OUT of Retirement

Ryan Villopoto is coming out of retirement—for one weekend. The four-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion confirmed he will race the entire 2016 AUS-X Open on November 12-13 in Sydney, Australia.

The event will serve as Villopoto’s first full-schedule racing appearance since announcing his retirement from professional racing last year.

Villopoto will once again face off against Chad Reed, who has also confirmed he will race the event for a second straight year.

“Racing [against] Chad will be awesome. I think that not only will Australian fans be tuning in, but the world also,” Villopoto said. "It’s a unique opportunity for supercross fans. It’ll be a thing like, “Cool, Chad’s there and so is Ryan, lets see how this pans out,” which will be exciting.”

Prior to competing in the FIM World Motocross Championship, in what would be his final season of racing in 2015, Villopoto joined Jeremy McGrath as the only two riders in AMA Supercross history with four consecutive titles. The Washington native is fifth all-time in AMA Supercross wins with 41.

Travis Pastrana to attempt the QUAD Backflip!

Crazy stunt man Travis Pastrana has been recently interviewed about a return to the 2016/17 X-Games, He stated "If I was to come back I will be attempting the quadrilateral back flip"

Josh Hansen HEAD ON CAR COLLISION!!

Josh Hansen will not be competing in the X-Games. On his way to Pala raceway (presumably to practice) his car was hit head on by a driver that drifted over to the wrong side. Below is the full release.

“FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Multi-time X-Games Gold medalist Josh Hansen was involved in a head on collision at approximately 8:10am, on May 22nd, 2016 near his home in Temecula, California. Josh was on his way to Pala Motocross Park as he has been preparing for the upcoming X-Games competition when the driver of the other vehicle crossed over into his lane striking his vehicle head on.

Josh was transported to a nearby hospital and eventually released. He is home healing from his injuries and under current medical care which has not released him to ride in the competition.

Mr. Hansen would like to thank his sponsors for all of their support and offers his apology for his being unable to attend the 2016 X-Games competition.”

Ken Roczen to Honda imminently!

Round two of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series just took place at Glen Helen and, after seeing Kenny Roczen’s win dominance and Alex Martin take his first career 250MX win, I had some simple thoughts about the race and the track. Please check them out below:

– Ok, fine, I guess I’ll have to re-adjust some of my thinking about Ken Roczen. See, it’s a fact he broke up from trainer Aldon Baker at the beginning of last year and it’s a fact that he hasn’t won a title since. We’ve seen him win plenty of races, but he’s gotten injured here and there and just hasn’t been able to make it happen. These four motos to start the year have put me from on the fence about Kenny’s decision to now believing that he decision was the right one for him.

Along with the facts I just wrote above, it’s also a proven fact that Baker’s riders win titles over and over and over and over again. Roczen’s heard all this talk, he’s listened to all the buzz about what a bad decision he made and truthfully, to me anyways, he hasn’t done everything he’s needed to do to make that talk go away.

AMA Lucas Oil Championship to stop races in 2017

Lucas from the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship has stated in 2017 there will not be any races happening, is this the final straw for the race series?
